Camp Tequesta

Camp Tequesta campers and volunteers

Welcome to Camp Tequesta

We provide a lifetime of memories through our annual Camp Tequesta for burn survivor children, ages 6 to 17. If you know a burn survivor child, tell their parents and/or guardians to contact us and allow their child to attend our camp and join the fun!

Our ratio is one adult "buddy" for each child. Most of our buddies are first responders and medical professionals.

The Campus

Every November we spend four days at the Florida Elks Youth Camp in Umatilla, Florida. The campus is settled in over 400 acres of outdoor beauty.

It offers a heated swimming pool, high-angle ropes courses with multiple challenges, cabins, indoor courts, beach volleyball, pavilions, picnic tables, and more!

Our staff carefully plans games, crafts, team challenges, a dance, and many other activities!

Who Can Attend?

Our only restriction is that the children are one-year post-burn and comfortable being away from their families and/or guardians. We are dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment that allows survivors to develop lifelong connections and friends.
